The Rector of the Agrarian University of Havana, Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez (UNAH), announces the 6th International Congress of Agricultural Sciences “AGROCIENCIAS 2026” to be held at the Convention Center of the Meliá Internacional Varadero Hotel, Cuba, from June 1 to 4, 2026, in a hybrid format.

UNAH, founded 50 years ago, is a key reference institution for the agrarian sector in Cuba. This event will bring together professionals, stakeholders, and promoters of Agricultural, Technical, Educational, Physical Culture, Social, and Economic Sciences, with the aim of exchanging experiences through innovation that fosters integration and contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda and the One Health approach.

It will be an open dialogue among national and international academics, researchers, producers, and students, combining both in‑person and virtual participation. The scientific program will include keynote lectures, workshops, presentations, and posters, as well as a scientific‑commercial exhibition emphasizing a multidisciplinary approach to advance an inclusive university and a sustainable environment for the economic development of nations.

The event will also promote the establishment and renewal of collaboration agreements and specific accords among universities, social institutions, enterprises, and non‑governmental organizations for the development of international academic projects, programs, and networks.
